I grew up In Southern California and have always been active. I played every sport you can think of growing up and spent a lot of time swimming and surfing. I loved sports but never considered myself a good athlete.
By the time I was in my late 30’s, like many Americans, I was in really poor health, overweight with extremely high blood pressure. When my daughter Taylor was born I suddenly found motivation to be healthy so I could be around to see my children grow up and hopefully get to spend time with my grandchildren.
In 2012 I found Crossfit and It became a critical factor in turning my health around. I will be forever grateful to those who introduced me to Crossfit and taught me how to eat right, exercise smarter and live better.
Coaching is my way of giving back.
I love working with those that are new and trying to pass along the same gift that was given to me. I just adore seeing growth in my athletes.
In Crossfit I have also found a sport that I love. As a masters athlete. I have made the Crossfit games qualifier 3 times. Qualified for the Cascade Classic 3 times and Qualified for the Granite Games twice. In 2017 I finished 28th in the world in the 45-49 age division.
If I can do it.... so can you, and I can't wait to help you achieve whatever your fitness goals are.
