As the holidays come to a close and we begin to look forward to a new year, the hype of new goals and resolutions builds as we reflect on the year past. It’s exciting to think about the high we got when we reached our goals we set last January. Some of us are reminded of the goals we set, but didn’t achieve this year. “Maybe this year will be the year”, we think.

I have had quite a few questions recently on why there have been a few sub 10 minute workouts coming up in the program. “I don’t feel like I actually did anything” or “I feel like I need to go run a few miles after I’m done” are just a few of the comments we’ve received. So, I wanted to breach the subject of aerobic vs anaerobic training, and why both are so valuable to our training regimen.
